I didn't grow up in a hunting family, but even when I was a kid I had a desire to be in the outdoors. Thankfully my wife comes from a long line of outdoorsmen. Her dad took me under his wing teaching me about hunting and reloading. In the evenings I would sit and watch hunting shows and read articles in magazines. I would talk about all of the great adventures all these other guys were going on. I would always end by saying "I'll never be able to afford to do that." My wife and I will never forget the night that she asked a quite simple yet profoundly life changing question, "How much does it cost." I must admit up until that very moment I had no idea. With my wife's encouragement I eventually figured out that I actually could afford it. All these years later I still love to hunt and get outdoors every chance I get. One of the greatest rewards for me is being able to share my love for the outdoors and opportunities for adventures with my wife, our kids, and friends.
